“Let’s dance our bodies into shape!”
Classically trained in dance as a child, Katerina was born in Johannesburg, South Africa to Greek parents. Evolving passion lead to interest in multi-cultural dance styles, including the Argentine tango, in which she has performed at the highest levels internationally. Overlapping interests in health, fitness, dance, fashion, and music lead Katarina to Zumba in 2005, receiving her certification directly from the founder, Beto Perez in Miami.She has since participated in the making of “ZIN 30” with Beto Perez, and presented “Tantalizing Tango” at the 2011 Zumba convention in Orlando.
